A magnificent nature reserve far from the usual tourist routes. Perfect for a peaceful walk through the woods with plenty of opportunities for birdwatching. The staff are very friendly and helpful!

A fantastic hiking trail. A fantastic rainforest reforestation project to expand a migratory corridor for wildlife. The receptionist was very friendly and, thanks to her support, we were able to plant a tree for free.

Smooth, well-maintained trails. We ran to the trailhead from our accommodation and loved being able to continue running along them. They were well-marked: we avoided the dust from the road and saw lots of birds.

I walked completely alone through this park. It's a beautiful walk of about an hour and a half. I saw many butterflies and birds. Highly recommended for escaping the hustle and bustle of Monteverde.
