About Us

Avancarí Nature Reserve is located just 10 minutes from Monteverde, Costa Rica. Our space is much more than a trail: it is a natural refuge designed to reconnect people with nature, enjoy biodiversity, and experience educational and sustainable activities.

The main route of the reserve consists of a trail approximately 4.5 km long, with a medium-
low difficulty, ideal for peaceful and enriching walks. Along the hike, visitors pass through a transitional forest between the rainforest and cloud forest, with elevations ranging from 1,440 to 1,480 meters above sea level.

Throughout the trail, visitors can admire a great diversity of native flora. This ecosystem also hosts a rich fauna, including birds, small mammals, amphibians, and insects, providing a complete experience of immersion and connection with nature.
